My name is Kouhei Ishikawa, and I am a taxidermist living in Japan.
I was impressed that I could see various excellent and remarkable taxidermy works around the world on the Internet, so I decided to create this website in 2008.
Now, I would really like to show my work to people all around the world!

I started doing taxidermy when I was fourteen years old. I had been interested in wild birds since I was a child, and I had been studying taxidermy by myself. While learning from my mistakes, I spent over a decade developing my own style.
To be a professional, at the age of 24 I entered an atelier of taxidermy, which is renowned in Japan.
There I practiced and studied for a decade. In 1973, I established my own store and atelier in Morioka city, Japan, and have been working as a taxidermist for more than 30 years.
